With more than 46 years of hands-on experience in mold assessment, indoor environmental consulting, and restoration — Brian brings a depth of knowledge that most inspection companies simply cannot match. He has worked on both sides of the industry: as a remediation contractor who cleaned up mold problems, and now as an independent assessment consultant who identifies and documents them.

Why Brian Transitioned from Remediation to Consulting
After decades working in mold remediation, Brian made a deliberate decision to shift entirely to the assessment and consulting side of the industry — and his reason is important for every homeowner to understand.
Too many inspection reports, Brian found, fell into one of two traps: they were either so vague they offered no real guidance to the homeowner, or they recommended massive, expensive remediation projects that the actual lab results simply didn't support. In both cases, homeowners were left confused, anxious, or out of pocket for work they may not have needed.
Today, Mold Consultant Group operates on a single principle: provide the most accurate, honest assessment possible — and nothing more. That means Mold Consultant Group does not perform remediation. It never will. There is no financial incentive to recommend more work than is genuinely warranted.
When Brian tells you remediation is necessary, it's because the evidence supports it. When he tells you it isn't, you can trust that too.
